Harvest Bound Consignments offers useful products for our many daily needs -- clothing, housewares, furniture, tools, hardware, decorative items, books, electronic items (such as televisions, computers, etc..)
Consignment terms are 50/50% and for a 12 week period.
Consignments can be brought in at any time during business hours (Tues-Sat: 10 ~ 5.) Please limit the drop-off to no more than 20 items at a time. (To drop off larger quantities, please schedule an appointment.) Items are not viewed & sorted at the time of drop off due to time limitations. Only clean, useable items are consigned. Any items dropped off and rejected (due to flaw or undesirability for resale value) automatically become the property of Harvest Bound Consignments and will be donated to charity or discarded as a service to our clients. (Some exceptions apply.) We strive to find re-use homes for all the rejected items, no matter how value-less it may seem.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE ITEMS TO BRING IN FOR CONSIGNMENT:
The first rule of consigning is simple:
WOULD YOU SPEND MONEY ON IT YOURSELF?
Consider these tips when bringing in your items for consignment:
CLOTHING:
- Clean (this is most important)
- Not out-of-style
- Without defect (we reject any piece of clothing that has the slightest defect such as stain, frayed, missing button, etc...)
- In season
HOUSEWARES or DECOR:
- Clean
- No defects
- Working if motorized
FURNITURE:
- Clean
- Not weak or loose (that could cause injury)
- Not broken or useless
BOOKS:
- We do not keep paperback romance novels due to space limitations
- Self-help, non-fiction are best
- Cookbooks sell
- Nice hardbacks
- HOMESCHOOL CURRICULUM
- No musty smelling, dirty, dog-earred books (Antique books may be an exception)
Generally speaking, make sure your items are clean so they present desirably -- remember, you want to try to sell the item, so make it look good to buy! If you smoke in your home, you won't necessarily smell the smoke residue on your items but a buyer will, so wash it before bringing it in, even if it looks clean already. If you have pets, you may not mind a couple of pet hairs, but the buyer will --be sure to remove any hair before bringing it in for consignment. If your product is dusty or dirty, you may think the buyer can see past all that and see the beauty of your piece -- the buyer won't. Make sure to clean it before consigning.
We're in business together! If you have questions about how to best present your consignments, don't hesitate to ask.
